Brake line replacements

Hi all,

I'm looking for a garage to do this work for me if anyone can recommend anywhere in the Manchester area?
The car is lowered and my MOT guy mentioned they are a PITA to replace - the MOT brought up front corrosion on the lines so I'm not sure if they can be cleaned up and coated or if they indeed need to be ripped out and replaced.

Thanks

. Try Mike in Earlstown at [email protected] but he's really busy atm.

I had them replaced in copper on my 2nd Coupe as that way they can be threaded past the fuel tank without needing to drop it, unlike the pre-shaped OE pipes.

The work was done in Cheshire by a former forum member in 2016 before he became discredited on here and I was actually very pleased with the standard of the job - as were my Indy & MOT tester! :D

TBF he gets a fair bit of flack on Facebook as well. No smoke without fire.

A good reputation is hard-won and easily lost.

I feel like I'm missing out on some information here - who was this absolute hero you speak of?

Sorry I can't help you there. For good reason the Forum Mods have made his user and business names "blank out" if you type them!
