Dear all,
I am hoping that you can help me out with a problem I am having. A while back I started to have brake judder only through the brake pedal and not the steering wheel which led me to believe the rear brakes may have been at fault. Stupidly I gave it to quikfit to take advantage of their free brake test, they informed me that the front discs were warped.... Which I thought I would have felt through the steering.
No matter I changed the discs and pads myself and all seemed okay, once I had beded the pads in correctly the judder has reappeared. Now It only happens at speeds over 60ish! And even really hard stops below this speed are okay.
Does this suggest that the rears are at a fault?
I don't think the calipers are sticking as the discs all seem to be equal temps.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks steve
