My wife's Z4 (20i M Sport. manual) was built three ago last month and so, as expected, the amber, 'service required' warning light popped up on start up. Today, the same message came up but this time with a red background. Both warning lights disappear after a few seconds.
I realise that this service is just a brake fluid change but as the car has only done 5,000 miles of summer motoring and my wife's driving style means that she is regularly overtaken by funeral court-ages, I plan not to bother with this until its next scheduled service when it is four years old.
I just wondered if anyone knows if these warning lights get more aggressive, making them impossible to ignore?
The car does not have the 'i-drive' function.
