Brake Fluid Change? and other service advise

Hi All,

Apologies if located in the wrong section..

Here's my info:

My zed is a 2005 (55) with just over 30,000 miles on the clock..

My m.o.t is up for renewal within the next week or two, my car say's the next service interval is at least 2000 miles away. Is it best just to have the mot done now and wait for the service? or is it best to have the service (inspection 2) done before the mot?

Also the car computer doesn't mention anything for a oil service change, and when i press the button for the brake fluid only a little clock appears, am i correct in thinking this means that it needs changing? on my service book it say's it was last changed 8/12/07 with a given next due change date of 8/12/09

The 1st oil change/service was also done on 8/12/07 if that helps..

Any advice on what I should do and what actually needs doing?

As you can tell i'm a bit off a novice.. my previous car I had from new and only had it for the three years so it was a simple case of a service each year..

Any help would be much appreciated

I'm not sure tbh..

Was thinking of taking it to bmw in swansea, but don't know if it's worth it :?

Am I ok to have the mot done now and take it for the service beginning of dec? (when it's due)

Get your MOT done now and the service later, you will be due Inspection2, brake fluid (evert 2 years), and coolant (every 4 years)

Get some prices from main dealers, and indi's and haggle

30k actually sound more like inspection 1 thinking about it, as first oil would have been around 15k, then inspection 1.

What's stamped in your book?

i think you are right..

just checked and it only has the 'oil service' ticked at 16811
