Brake dust

Hi, I've just fitted the 325mm Si discs and callipers. I've used ate pads and pagid discs and I'm getting loads of dust on the front wheels. Is this normal while everything beds in and will it settle down? Only covered about 125 miles since fitting. Dell.

If you get fed up with amount of dust, Textar E-Pads or EBC red stuff are good road pads, neither of which produce excessive amounts of dust.

I fitted Textar e-pads and whilst there is a bit less dust the main benefit is it not sticking to the wheels, apparently they have a low iron high ceramic content and it's the burning iron that sticks. They feel like standard pads :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for the info, I'll wait a while to see if it settles a bit then change if no improvement. Pads are ATE .
