Anyone else had or got a slight rattle when closing the drivers door caused by the drivers side rear dust shield?
Any recommendations on how to proceed?
Cheers!

Ideally good practice to give the wheels, brakes and underside of the car a clean ideally weekly to ensure any salt from the roads doesn't sit too long and start to corrode parts.
I've seen unpolished wheel rims on my mates car go from looking new to looking like they've been abused for years because he didn't listen about salt and very rarely washed them off.
As you've not owned the car that long, you clearly can't comment on what the previous owner did with regards to winter use. Hopefully it's not rusted away and just its just loose. I've had stones trapped between the disc and the sheild but that caused noise driving, not getting in. I assume you've had someone pin point this as the cause of the noise and it's not coming from something else like a loose bracket somewhere?
