Brake / DSC issues

Got the dreaded yellow (hand)brake and DSC lights today, accompanied by a nice chime :(
I've read a few topics here and elsewhere and based on those read out the car with a scanner, and I get error 005E24 which comes with a description of either front left wheel speed sensor, or a pressure sensor.
Would this pressure sensor be the DSC pressure sensor, identified as #2 (DSC pressure sensor, part #34521164458) in the diagram at this link: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BT31-EUR-10-2004-E85-BMW-Z4_25i&diagId=34_1290

I'm not seeing any other codes besides the one mentioned above. Car seems to run and brake just fine as well. If anyone has any other suggestions I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks!

If you're getting a code for the wheel speed sensor it's likely that. From what I've seen on the forum this is the most common cause for these lights. It was also the solution to my three yellow warning lights that came on.

Similar to you, doing day to day driving, the car seemed to run and stop just fine. However I did find that the ABS was disabled which usually happens with this kind of fault so take care. :)

Mine came on often when under hard acceleration after I used Bilt Hamber auto wheels. My thinking is some crap must have made its way to the sensor or reluctor rings after it had dissolved some iron.

Anyway reset after turning car off then back on.

I have since washed the wheels often and using just snow foam and normal car wash shampoo several times and I think that's now dislodged the crap as the lights no longer come on under hard acceleration.

So sometimes the sensor and/or reluctor rings just need a good clean. Sometimes you need to actually take the wheel off and sensor off to do this. I was lucky that foam must have penetrated enough to fix it.

Yup, try a good clean out round the sensor. It's mounted in the back of the hub. Follow the cable from the inner wing connector box.
If that fails then changing the sensor is an easy job.

Alright thanks. Seeing as the description of the fault code mentions either speed sensor or pressure sensor, I was actually hoping it was the DSC pressure sensor (the speed sensors seems exorbitantly expensive!).
Will first give it all a good clean before replacing stuff then. Thanks for the tips!

Just looked on Autodoc and front left ABS sensor is coming up around the £30-£35 mark for a decent brand.

Are we talking about the same sensor then? From what I gather from RealOEM it's part #34526764018 (number 8 on this diagram: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BT31-EUR-10-2004-E85-BMW-Z4_25i&diagId=34_1289). I know the prices listed on RealOEM vary vs actual cost, but a roughly £420 GBP difference seems massive...

Nope.
You need:
Part Number 34526792897
Item 5 on here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BT52-EUR-04-2003-E85-BMW-Z4_30i&diagId=31_0646
