Anybody bought black diamond discs and pads for their Zed? Or any recommendations on non OEM brakes / pads please?

Sounds like poor planning to me![]()

If you'd said 'like to' rather than 'have to' I would respect that all the more

I think you need to state what you want to achieve. In the title you say 'upgrade'. Everyone will recommend their favourite pads, but are you looking for better fade resistance, silent pads and disks, less dust, etc.
Personally I love EBC grooved and EBC pads. Less dust, slightly more noise, look great and braking performance is the same as OEM.
I have however fitted larger E46 disks that make a real upgrade for very little outlay (you already have those fitted on a facelift Si)
