I painted mine doom blue as used on the new 2/4 series

Thanks to you for the heads up on the paint. As you say enough left to give them another go next year if needed.
As you know the paint is so easy to use and would definitely recommend over others I've used. Well worth the extra money.

I did mine orange and had a few people comment how good they look, stand out well with a black car but don't look charvy. Next thing is black alloys which will show them off more.

I think I will be ordering some of this blue paint in the spring as the finish looks great and looks like it is worth the extra cost

I have used Hammerite for 20 years on every car I've ever owned. Works well. But this stuff is fantastic the finish is enamel like,time will tell if it lasts. The supplier States that it will,brake specialists so I'am sure it will.

Thanks! Yes indeed - from the 135i, with e46 adaptors and csl discs
Truthfully they cost more than I wanted to spend, and in fact a new set of ksports or d2s would likely have ended up more cost effective (you need 10mm spacers to get the wheels to fit over these calipers - i didn't realise this so had a faff paying a garage to revert back to stock so I could use the car while ordering spacers) , but I like the OEM look and am happy with the outcome. I upgraded as I was starting to find the limits of the oe brakes on track - in that respect it's definitely a win - the performance is bloody impressive!
