Brake Calipers

Silver or black on basic calipers. Brighter colours only really suit four pots plus imo. Although going back on what I e just said I'm strangely drawn to this;

Photo is small but they're orange.

I fancy a dark blue. Quick question to those who have done it - do I need proper calipers paint, or will a pot of hammerite do it?

Hammerite smooth is ok, not sure what shade of blue it is though.

I was looking at possibly doing mine in a dark high gloss blue in the spring, however there are various blue paints on fleabay with various prices that will do the job, depends on the colour and finish you are after.

These 2 paints have been mentioned in previous threads
