Brake calipers off ebay

Out of curiosity, has anyone used these and if so, have you any feedback, good bad or other?

Not got any experience with those calipers - but I recently replaced all the calipers on my E86 with the Pagid calipers from Halfords.

They’re actually remanufactured original BMW calipers, very happy with them and pretty good value. Plus there’s a code for an extra 10% off.

Worth going to the Halfords website and searching for calipers. The right ones will show up if you put your reg in. Here’s the links for the standard E86 3.0si calipers:

I'd just rebuild what you have, unless the Z4 has to go straight back on the road; there's a place near me, just outside of Leicester, and they blast, treat, paint and rebuild for about £40 a calliper; the original casting from BMW (or their supplier) will be far superior to anything on eBay.

I bought a pair of these of ebay 2 years ago, as a stop-gap while I got my original calipers overhauled. They are still fitted and I have had no issues so far.

As per others, i too fitted these as a stop gap until i grab a BBK and they've performed just as well as the ATE's that came off.

I don't cover many miles however.
