Has anybody any info on these ?
I fancy some red calipers but don't really want to paint them ? Has anybody used these and if so can you recommend somewhere that sells them ? I have looked on the net under Brembo Brake Caliper Covers but they all seem to be coming in from China just a bit concerned that they won't fit etc ?
Cheers

Aren't they plastic?

If so, I'd be worried about them melting and sticking to the disc/caliper/wheel.

I bought some in a moment of stupidity, they came from China, had brembo on them( the red version) they are hard plastic. Left them in my shed for 1 week and thought what the hell had I done. On reflection my pride and joy had done little to deserve these pretend covers so sold on eBay for almost what I paid for them. I have never looked back, I would resist them if I was you.

I received a set of these in black from a ' secret Santa ' you can have them for a small donation to the site plus postage?

Don’t buy them!!! It’s an utter waste of time!! It’s like putting a V8 sticker on the back of a corsa. :headbang:

If you want your breaks to look good just spend a weekend over the summer painting them with calliper paint. Subtle colours work best if you’ve got standard callipers. Otherwise you highlight standard callipers and it will look strange (in my opinion). It’s not that hard to do. I did it on my old E46 with them still attached to the break lines as I didn’t want to have to bleed the system. It helps to take them off the disk though.

Z4 calipers and hubs are pretty easy to paint, just a good wire brush clean up, some silver smooth hammerite, Matt black high temp spray paint for the hubs. All in the prep, take your time masking the bits you don't want to paint. Mine came out looking great. I agree with the above though not keen on bright colours unless they are nicely machined calipers which z4s are not!
