Brake bleeding

Morning guys
So I bleed the brakes on Saturday, dodging the rain took about a 1 HR wasted time trying to use a vacuum bleeder that I purchased , that was rubbish :fuelfire: . It was fine on taking fluid from the reservoir, couldn't make a seal on the brakes. So I went to the old school one man brake bleed with a bottle worked a treat.

I always had great success with a Gunson brake bleeder — it put air pressure from a spare tyre over the reservoir then each valve was operated in turn - a one man job!

I don’t know if they’re still around ?

I tried a Gunson EaziBleed last time, as soon as I started, a seal came unseated and splurged brake fluid all down the engine bay which had to be cleaned off sharpish. The Gunson Eazibleed was, IMHO, a piece of cheap cra@p so went in the bin. I'm sure it was user error and other people have good results with it, but checking on-line reviews afterwards (too late) there was a lot of similar complaints.

I agree - the seal on the master cylinder was a bit twitchy - especially so when the applied air pressure was on the high side - I think I only used mine once - it was loaned out more times than I used it!
