Braided Clutch line

Am going to change the calipers and brake fluid soon and as this is the same fluid as in the clutch was thinking of changing the clutch hose to a braided one and removing cdv.

Couple of questions, has anyone fitted a braided clutch line;
Was it worth it?
Where did youget it? looking online the closest is E46 ones. is the Zeds the same/similar enough to the E46 M3? (I know its not the same part no)

My understanding is that apart from looks the main reason for using braided brake lines is under heavy braking they allow more pressure to transfer to the calipers, presumably by the walls holding greater pressure.

Given the clutch hose isn't really visible and maximising clutch pressure is not an issue, I struggle to see any point.

Yes, fitted stainless braided clutch line to my race camaro and.....no difference except that it looks nice!

Also fitted russell performance stainless braided brake flexys and they did make a difference in the solid feel of the brake pedal.

Andy.
