Thought I'd start a new thread, sold my swift sport and picked this up the following day!

First of all, here are a couple of pictures.

Plans

Stubby= DONE
Get a roof cover= DONE
Clean out the roof drains=DONE
MM exhaust tips=DONE
New tyres (currently on run flats)
 
I believe the aux in cable jack is located just under the radio between the ashtray if u run ur finger under the radio u will feel it closest to the driver side

Yeah think it's standard not sure what model It started but mines an 07 plate and I have one didn't realise it was there either.

I keep seeing the same one around London and it's making me jealous.

Was standard from MY2007. As yours is a 57 plate you stand a good chance, but it depends how long it was standing before being registered.

Love that colour. One of the best on z4's.

If you do end up going for black grilles, i'd be interested in your standard ones :)

Thanks, I was looking more for silver with red interior, but there weren't many good examples near me.

Still unsure :p il need to get a picture photoshopped.

Looking forward to a nice dry day so I can clean it!

Just treated her too:
Poorboy's wheel sealant
Renovo fabric cleaner and proofer
AG High Def Wax
AG Detailing Clay kit
AG Engine cleaner
Variety of different microfibre towels from AG
Dr Leather Wipes
And two woolly mitts :D

Oh and a packet of expanding rivets (Part Numbers : 51118174185) and long bottle brush thingy for cleaning the drains!
 
Finally had a sunny day, so straight after work I got to it and gave her a good clean using the above.

I know, they look shocking in the pictures.

And I'am yes :) Been a member for nearly 7 years :o
 
Stupid question, but is there a 'how to' on here. Unsure what to and not too mask up.

May see how much a paint shop will ask to do them, assuming they will have the tools to remove them, disassemble, paint and lacquer and fit it back together. It's one part of the car I most certainly don't want to mess with!
