My son bought this 2.5 in January for a very good price and in great condition but fairly bog standard.

A few tweaks later and it's looking very good.

9.5J 19s all round (bargain wheels off ebay) with 255/30 rears and 225/35 fronts that just about fit. Finished off with some H&R Springs.
Nice work lad!

Re-take pics with roofs off please!

Both of them are LOW! they look great, your driveway looks very cool!

Cheers, yea the M is on H&Rs too. Was about to rain so roofs stayed up. Will post some sunny roofless pics sometime soon.

Offset 35. There was lots of measuring and will it/won't it but the lad worked it out perfectly with the online "will it fit" sites.
I have 9J fronts on the M with 235 also offset 35 so we thought 225's on 9.5 should work. 12.5mm wider rim with 10mm less tyre we reckoned 1mm nearer the arch so that helped with the confidence. With a big assumption the front axles are the same.

Thanks for all the nice comments :)
The boy ran 195/40s on 9J on his old Mazda MX5 mk1 which were a mental stretch  so this one is quite sensible.

Think I prefer the originals. Looks a bit 'boyed up' now! :poke:

Well he's 20 with a fetish for wide rims.... what can I say.......
I'm a "bit" older but I think he's done a great job. Looks superb.

I love this - will he be coming on meets ? You can keep a good eye on him :D
