Still looking for a new toy after selling my zed - went to look at a 3.2S Boxster - old (2002 ) but one owner and low miles ( 41k ) £8k -
looked good ( apart from wheels needed refurbishing ) a good professional detailing plus wheels could bring it up to my standard - went like a bullet and the sound of the engine was to die for . Wasn't impressed with the interior compared with the BMW finish and the biggest problem was trying to fit my 6'7" in it but still tempted - its a true sports car !
Very tempted also to go for a 3.0 S drive - found a grey BMW approved one with very low miles - manual ( 59 reg ) but nearly ten grand more as you would expect . Have yet to test drive so am currently in dialogue with the garage to ensure its worth the trip to go and view.
Difference in money obviously important but as I'm ancient , mortgage free and not destitute I could afford it but something tells me the S'Drive is a bit too tame compared with the Porker - the advantages are a BMW warranty , a better finish and I can fit in it !! and on paper almost as fast !
Thoughts ?
