Boxster S pdk rental

Well, my coupe is in for repairs so insurers have given me a 2011 Boxster S with pdk & 19" wheels - shall post pics later.

It's a great, solid car but so far actually prefer the feel & 'rawness' of the 3.0si.

Also, the 2011 is very dated - after all that shape has been around for circa 10 years..? For me the coupe is so much more eye catching, especially with the aero skirts.

I'm sure the new Boxster drives as well as it looks (stunning) but if I'd paid £40k plus for this 'older' model I would feel somewhat at a loss.

Guess it goes to show what great value the Z4 is, as here I am preferring my £11-12k coupe.

Anyhow, it won't stop me enjoying some roof-down motoring for a change!! Off to Wales & Lakes over next few days as booked a week off work ;-)

You're surely comparing a used car (your z4) with a new car (porsche) cost there though, which makes no sense. As your Z was originally 30K+ close to the 40K+ of the porsche, it makes the Z less of a bargain surely. In any event, its always good to get a feel from other cars, makes your mind up about your own! :P

We test drove a Boxster S before we plumped for the Z. I must say the cabin in the Z feels better appointed.

Performance wise nothing in it.

Boot/Bonnet space and general storage the Boxster wins hands down. The Zeds pretty mean in that respect.
