Is this happening? If so whats the plan?

I can only know later on Xmas day/early Boxing Day how work is looking. Will have to confirm absolutely on day. But I'm not expecting to have to go in.

Jamie what time were you thinking of meeting and where?

You know im just looking to have my car out of the garage for the first time since the Surrey meet (a month ago!!)

Wow this must be a special occasion for you :poke:

bluestreak56, yes break her out!

RubyBlueZ4MC, the weather is forecast for a bit of sunshine in the morning and rain in the evening so to make the most of the photo opportunities was thinking of early-mid morning?

How does this fit with everyone?

And was thinking of a car park (such as the Chimes?) though maybe too busy, as a meeting place to start then decide on some routes for a little drive and some good spots for photos......

Stuart Truman, I'm sure we can arrange a meet in the new year soon!

Also was thinking a good stop-off point could be Denham Country Park for some 'outdoor' shots.

The Chimes - on boxing day? That will be a nightmare...
How about a pub called the Old Orchard in the middle of Harefield a short drive away - about 10 mins from Chimes? Has a big car park (with a nice backdrop of a reservoir for pics) and pub will be nice for some lunch at some point.

I did start a topic about a South West Run towards the end of Jan. down Cheddar Gorge then maybe across to Weston. Will get on this again in the next day or two

I went to Denham Country park once and the car park was a bit small..I'm not sure if you know a bigger one in there where the scenery is nice?
I remember the drive out to Beaconsfield and Amersham being quite nice or then there is Windsor...

Try the Crown at Beaconsfield on the Penn Road, used for 2 previous meets, nice huge car park

RubyBlueZ4MC, aquazi, We'll have to rely on Ruby's camera!

Stark, Looks like it was a good turn out of Zeds!

Ruby the Old Orchard sounds like a good shout. I love Windsor and spent many happy summers there of an evening lol.

Can I suggest then perhaps we meet at the Old Orchard and take a drive to Windsor, arriving at The Great Park and try to get the deer in the back ground of our car shots? Or vice vera.

Panasonic Lumix is alright so I am told...I can try this out Boxing day on the Zeds before I go to France later this month where I intend to use it.
This plan sounds ok to me. What time exactly is ok for everyone?

Woop. Can I suggest we start at the Great Park and head to Harefield that way round as not sure the pub will be open too early! I was thinking of starting around 10am?

That way we make the best of the weather, light and opening times........

There's not one main car park, either side of the main road through the park there are car parking spots, and as they're hard to describe / point out on a map can I suggest we meet at:

The Bells of Ouzeley (Harvester)
Straight Road, Old Windsor, Berkshire SL4 2SH

Which is just a short drive from the Park!

And the food was good.

Oooh spotted myself in the photo :D

The food was very tasty! Plus got to see Windsor one way system quite a few times ;)

So just to confirm - starting point will be:

10:00am - The Bells of Ouzeley (Harvester)
Straight Road, Old Windsor, Berkshire SL4 2SH

Heading onto Windsor Great Park, then onwards to The Old Orchard, Harefield. Will PM my no. to all those who've expressed an interest in showing up!
