My door handle was at its limit before the door would release so I figured the cable had stretched.
Ordered a new cable from BMW for £14.49. Ordered on the morning and had it by 15:00 the same day
Not too bad of a job.
Door card off. Seal removed using a sharp blade on the black adhesive so it did not rip.
Airbag off
Lock mech out
Handle off
Release the cable and slot in the new cable
All done and back together within the hour.
Now has a positive action about half way so it’s spot on.
