I think I can smell the black leather with white stitching........oh no it's bullsh!t I can smell! :P

Nope...we were SHOWN black leather with white stitching...it seems that is only available on the M6/6 series. The slaesman said he thought we knew!!

Gutted tbh, but hey...it doesn't stop me enjoying it :D

I am really pleased I went for the Msport, the suspension is great, I do not understand what people complain about. My 3 and 5 series M Sports were firmer and far "crashier" than this. My brothers one series can dislocate shoulders over the smallest bump...he was very complimentary about the ride.

Just starting to feel braver on the bends, I fear these 19" tyres may not last too long!!

Well done! Now book your Silverstone Classic ticket for Saturday, meet the Gang and drive it on a circuit :)

Sadly going kiting this weekend, I was wondering about track days, is there one you could recommend?

Definitely, but you've only got until the 31st to take advantage of the early bird car club pricing. There's a link and car club code on the thread

Sorry couldn't resist, I knew it wasn't available. You can get wannabe's who think they have a zed and they don't really.
You'll still enjoy it and the stitching would have gone dirty anyway eventually

It wouldn't have been eventually...it would have been almost instant, I am prone to spillage!!

Now, can I justify the AC S upgrade for the engine?!?

I GOT IT TODAY!!

What a car!!

M sport with 19 inch alloys, I have heard so much about this being a harsh ride, trust me on this, after a Smart for 2 with big alloys the Z feels like a Rolls Royce!

(it is moderately quicker too  )

That's true, my Tiburon V6 felt twice as harsh. The Zed with the M Sports suspension is a smoothie, even with those damnable runflats.

Loving this car!

I even washed it...MYSELF!

I never did that with my 5 series, or 3 or X3!

I am really happy with the handling, would like another 50bhp though, just to really get it lively on corner exits!

One and a bit weeks and 1300 miles into Z4 ownership and...

I have been horribly cut up numerous times, a zillion spotty yoofs in Corsas have wanted a race, it has rained or snowed too much, I have wondered if I should have ticked the iDrive box, but MAINLY I have laughed and smiled more than in a VERY long time!

It has averaged 34mpg, even with many 'Spirited' drives!

It has been comfortable enough on 150 mile drives that I will be using it more than I originally anticipated, A call id going in to BMW Finance on Monday to adjust the limit.

I may well invest in the ACS performance upgrade...just a few more ponies for sliding and squealing action from the back end would be wonderful!!

One month and 2000 miles in...Still highly addicted to my Z!

I enjoy every drive...if it's not raining the top is down :D

Not a rattle or squeek, no gremlins at all.

Sytner BMW in Nottingham have looked after me superbly, I would not hesitate to suggest that you give Laurie a call, a real car nut and not too pushy for a sales dude!
