In anticipation of getting my first Z this Friday...would be happy to make an offer if someone has a set sat doing nothing. Based in London E7.

E89 Roadsterbags and Hens teeth are in the same catagory unfortunately!

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a set from new. From memory about £187 inc delivery and when the time comes, they should sell for £100 or so.

Enjoy yourself on Friday and dont forget ---- to post your pictures!!

to be honest i had a set of roadster bags for my E85 and didnt use them at all! i found it was easier to carry a soft bag or 2 instead.

i dont think i would use ones for the new car either. only one that might be interesting is the little one that makes the boot floor level, other than that soft holdalls for me

Bit of a long shot I know and I will have a play with some baggage now that I have the car. I just think they look smart!

When i drove to Italy I bought a pair of Jeep bags from TK Max, which fitted the car perfectly. One was slightly shorter and fitted perfectly at the back of the boot. They were quite cheap, I believe around £19, with wheels and looked very smart. Try and have a look.

I got two squashy bags from Argos for our trip to Spain last year. The sizes given in the catalogue and their returns policy meant I could try a few before getting the best combination. Cost was about £85 in total

Cheers

So I know I can use soft bags we already have, but I was seduced by the stylish look of these and have ordered a set from http://www.koffer24.com for Eur153 = £133 delivered. I found a 10 Euro discount code to use on the order BONUS12. Delivery by DHL so cross fingers they are the right set of luggage and that it arrives ok.

The roadster bags are a good buy. We used them this year on hols and had no complaints.

That is why I said I hope the right ones turn up! I did specify E89 in my order. Their website does say Z4 2009 onwards, so should be good.I will post back here, as a worthwhile saving if all works out.

Fingers crossed for you!

If they are the genuine thing they will be a bargain and I will be putting my order in.

Where was that discount number from? Any saving is worth having in my opinion.

Hope it all goes to plan

I've just been on the http://www.koffer24.de web page and ordered a set!

I gave the "voucher" a try but it knocked me back - However at checkout it applied a €10 discount so my total bill was €153 inc delivery.

Just have to wait and see what the credit card charges are!
I used a Halifax Master Card and when I use it in Europe they dont add on a percentage for using foreign currency - Normally they apply the commercial rate and not tourist rates.

Good man, the voucher must have gone through to get the price you did. Koffer are definitely a pukka outfit so we should be fine. Sometimes the bigger resellers do sell for less than the manufacturers - John Lewis sometimes have things less than direct for example. Anyway, will soon find out...

The Clarity Card? Yep I am a big fan as well. The only way to go for overseas cash and purchases. Although I think I used Paypay for this come to think of it (as I didn't think...).

I use either the Post Office card or the Halifax card. They both convert € to £'s at the commercial rate.

I was only a button push away from a Paypal transaction when I had the thought of the Halifax card.

Prior to ordering I emailed and asked if they were manufactured by Roadster Bags - They confirmed that they are!

I can't understand how the manufacturer is asking £170 + £17 delivery and koffer only £134 ish.

Mine were ordered on the 26th Feb - Should only be a couple of days after yours.
They do say five working days on the web page.
