Well, furtherto my last post I went to see Phil's car today ie:

... and to cut a long story short bought it
. Well pleased!! What a great example & Phil is such a top fella - his honesty, enthusiasm & laid-back style really helped sell it. Car salesmen take note...! He's obviously taken great care of it, amazed it hadn't been sold already.
Sorry Inkey$ .... I did manage to get him down to £13,600 so £200 off  ! Slightly kerbed front alloys, low-ish rear tyres (though still prob 8k left) & the fact it's never had new pads nor discs for ages were my only bargaining tools. It was so hard to "fault". And he threw in a Z4 car cover n'all.
Oh, it also had 62k miles on the clock not 59,200 as advertised but fair enough, the ad is a couple months old. Mind you, I really do not understand why people get so fussy about "higher" mileage Z4M's, so long as they're serviced properly they're pretty bullet-proof. I'd much rather have a car anyway which has done 10k miles a year rather than one doing 3k a year pootling to the shops & back which invites a whole load of potential problems. These things need to be driven.
So, result! Picking it up end next week, well-tempted by CSL wheels now why are they so damn pricey.....
