Hi Everyone

Thanks for all of your help in the run up to me buying a car I've had loads of help and the depth of knowledge has been great and I'm well pleased with the new car!!!!

Now I have a few more questions ones which have no doubt been answered but my searching is failing me

1 The rear centre brake light needs replacing any advice on the best place to go for this?

2 There was a great post regarding the different audio options any idea as to a link I can't find it now? It has an amp and has DSP options and speakers behind the seat if that helps?

3 The wipers don't stop at the bottom is there an easy way to adjust this?

Other issues are one of the xenons is intermittent but I've seen posts on that, the roof needs a renovo job, the front and rear bumpers want a respray to be perfect (all have that I've seen) and the whole lot needs a good detail.

Most importantly I got it for a blooming good price and the mechanics seem perfect. The cosmetic stuff I'll sort out.

And it's black with red which is what I wanted all along .... And sounds great.

Thanks again

And yes I know this thread is useless without pics but its too dark now but will tomorrow!!!

For the brake light - Jamie @ Sopers BMW in lincoln will do you a clear one for c.£50 or red for c.£64. Mention the forum for a discount

Pics asap! 8)

Hi and welcome :) As others have already said :worthless:

Re wiper issue you mentioned, not sure if this will help you http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=685

Also, on the 3rd brake light, if it's broken at the corners-the screws/bolts were too tight. There's also new springs that will help.

Hi!

I bought a 3.0 Z4 today as well! Just got in from a 3 hour drive love it and I no longer miss my Z4M!

Glad that both new owners are enjoying their new purchases. I'm currently thinking about selling but keep changing my mind as what the hell will I replace it with :(

Regarding the wipers. It's caused by grease in the motor creating a conductive path. There is a good how to on the site somewhere which explains how to fix it. If you search for wiper problem you should find it. Thread has loads of pics and is an easy job with a spare hour or two. Just make sure you clear all the grease out. I didn't the first time and had to repeat the process. Working perfectly now.
