Bottom ball jointe

Are Febi Bilstien okay, some of the reviewers on Amazon say their bearings haven't lasted very well.

Lemforder are OE, those or genuine bmw are best, but also most expensive.
Although you can get 20% off on bmw direct or vertu bmw on eBay.
They’ll still be around £140 a side though.
Try watching lemforder ones on the Autodoc app.

On more investigation the blurb on Amazon and Autodoc says they are for standard or non sport suspension. I think but am not certain that a previous owner fitted sport springs. Will they be okay and am I over thinking all this?

I must be over thinking this, I've put in reg from 2 sport versions on Auto trader and the numbers are the same.

Also genuine bmw comes with all the nuts and bolts, including for the reinforcement plates, but no lollipop bushes. You may want to change those as well if not recent.
My new bmw ones below with nearly new ( last year) lollipops…

Milk and one sugar please  (y)
Nick, can I prevail on your kindness again please, my wife seems to think I am only replacing them because the dodgy German place said the nearside needed doing. She doesn't like the idea that I am doing it on the opinion of a grill stealer. :( I don't know for sure but I think they could possibly be the original ones as there are no receipts for it being done in the wad of paperwork I received with the car. There was however in 2012 in the mot a suspension advisory and the offside was replaced a year later. So it might only be the nearside needs to be done. Would you mind if I popped down sometime for you to have a quick look for me on your lift as you would know better than I do and I would really trust your opinion. Mike.(y)

IMHO I would change both just like you would for other bits like discs, pads struts etc etc…
