Barbaric.


I tend to think conspiracy theories are a version of trolling. They add to the sum of uncertainty fear and doubt. I won't be passing them on. I shall wait for the investigation.
 
While it's fortunate the causality rate is relatively low for such forceful blasts, the amount of carnage in the way of severed limbs and such is sickening.

On a more positive note, the response by the people of Boston to aid people displaced by this tragedy by freely providing food, lodging and other needs is truly heart warming.

Anyone watching the news ? BBC News channel is running live right now - the whole of Boston and it's transportation system has been locked down, one suspect killed, the other on the run. They killed one policeman and seriously injured another - a large gun battle and apparently explosives thrown by the suspects, all kicked off at 4am local time. Scary stuff :o
 
jep, following it on the dutch newssites, but they are tsjechans ( those guys from teh caucauses, as i don't know how to writhe that in english). so verry likely there muslim terrorists.
 
There's got to be something seriously and terminally wrong in the minds of people who do stuff like this. I mean, there's so much good stuff to do and get out of life, rather than spend time plotting sh*t like this. Idle minds, and all that, I guess, plays a big part. Sure, we all hat the work-home-work routine, and would rather not be paying bills all the time, but it's all about those special moments in life that make it worth while.

Had enough of it.

Sorry - got a bit philosophical.

Did you see that guy who was sat at his computer, heard the gunshots and dropped to the floor and crawled to his closet. When he came out a bullet had penetrated his wall, gone straight through the chair where he was sitting and the carcass was on the floor? :o
 
Crazy stuff, wouldn't go a miss on a far fetched thriller film. All sad stuff. Amazing though the resources the police over there have! No LR defenders with chicken wire covering the windows in sight.

And now back to the "why". Thought they were always attacking Russia - so why the US?
 
Would be unlikely that they are not as they are armed with all sorts of stuff?
