Tragic what’s next an suv Z4 aarrrggg
Already got the X1, 3, 5, 7. Odd numbers for SUVs, even numbers for 'proper' cars. i7 is released soon; an all electric 'executive' car retailing at £about a million! Bargain!

We are moving further and further away from real cars, it’s no wonder neither of my children wanted to learn how to drive one.

Even numbers don't escape there's X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 & X7 - the even numbered X's are 'coupe-fied' versions of the odd numbered vehicles with a sloping roof and lower rear roofline.

We've got an X3 as our daily but I don't see the point of the X2, X4, & X6 myself as, if you're buying a SUV, why make it less practical by reducing its load-lugging capacity? They sell them as 'sporty' SUVs but I don't see it, to the lines just look odd as if an elephant has sat on the rear and squashed it.

Agree, whilst an electric car would most likely be ideal for me I can guarantee it would destroy my driving enjoyment, how can you compare an electric car to a straight six with a nice exhaust tone. I also don't like the ipads that are taking over traditional dials and having to use hidden menus just to adjust the heating etc :headbang:

Dread to think what motoring will be like in 20 years. Not totally against electric cars but cars are becoming an appliance, no different to a hoover

Tim.

Well, the Bosch is off in the post today back to the manufacture for exchange. I was wrong, we have only had it for 4 months not 6 to 9 months. Worse than I thought. Back to the old reliable Russell Hobbs kettle.
