Previous posts several years ago reported problems that the Aerotwins don’t sit flush against the pretty curved windshield on the passenger side. Anyone tried them recently? The packaging seems new and I’m on the fence to try either AR21U & AR20U, or AR21U & AR19U, or stick to old style OEM.

Not changed mine for a few years so can't comment on new design but never sat right on the passenger side.
Does the new design suggest it should do now?

I fitted them to my previous Z4 some years ago and had the same problem with the passenger one not sitting right.

Maybe the new ones are different, but I think some people have just fitted a shorter blade on the passenger side so it looks a bit better.

That's probably what I'll do when I need new blades as I think the Aerotwins have a much cleaner look than OE ones.

I wouldn't bother. Just get genuine ones from BMW unless you want the last inch of the passenger side not sitting flush.

I cut the outer 1.5 inches or so off the end of the passenger wiper and stuck the plastic end cap back on with black silicone RTV ...sorted

Thanks for the responses. I’ll stick with oem then, replacing the complete blades. I’ve been changing the rubber parts to the old oem ones that now have become wobbly. Kind of like the retro look of them, suits the whippy :)
