Boris is back

Well for the moment it's good to see him back. Good health to him and his family, he has a hell of a job to do.

His girlfriend was on the radio saying that he could never re pay the NHS for saving his life - well actually he is probably the only person who could

I note he has travelled to his holiday home - I dare anyone else to try and do that - They are shipping his girlfriend there as well!

Good to know we’re all in this together

He’s hardly on holiday Ron, he’s recovering. Number10 isn’t the right place for that.

You try to go to your place in the country to recover / convalesce and see what happens!

Where do you think he should recover Ron, do you think he should be in Downing St?

Chequers Is a residence used by the incumbent prime minister as is Downing Street. Why does it make any difference where he goes?

Quite simply he should be seen to be obeying the rules like the rest of us. It’s not a good example to set - it’s not as tho No10 is a one bedroomed flat on the 14th floor is it?

Chequers is the “country“ residence of the PM - his primary residence is No10

You or I would not be given the choice to go to our place in the country.

You obviously wouldn’t be happy no matter what Boris did Ron.

Im afraid you couldn't be more wrong!

My opinion would be equally applied to anyone in that position - All I suggest is that the rule makers are seen to be abiding by the rules they make.

What surprised me was how quickly he was admitted to hospital but even more so how quickly he came out considering he was in intensive care.

I think you’re twisting this for your own ends, number 10 is where the prime minister stays while at work.
He’s just got out of intensive care as you know, now he’s not at work & needs to recover. Downing st isn’t the place for that as it’s his work place. It’s not his “holiday home” as you put it, it’s available for every pm and doesn’t belong to Boris.

He’d obviously had the virus for sometime before being admitted, you didn’t have to be an expert to see he was ill.
With hospital places at a premium I’m not surprised he left quickly once out of danger.
Rob

He left hospital and probably made one journey to where he is staying until he goes back to work

Not that different to a lot of people

If I went to hospital I too have a choice or a rented house in Manchester I rent for work and my family home in Cleethorpes

One is as rough as toast.........

Although the plan was to put Cleethorpes up for sale at Easter

He didn't look too bright throughout the whole ordeal, if I had the choice, being out of hospital as quickly as you can be and out in the country to recouperate would be mine, it can't be a bed of roses being in an ICU at the moment as good as the care is.

Tim.

Makes absolute sense to get away and recover. He's not "everyone else" - he's the leader of this country. I'd rather he regained his strength so that he can take the helm again in good shape rather than suffering for longer purely to make it look as though he's "one of us".
