I will want to do this but can't plan that far ahead!

Can't really plan so far ahead of all the other meets that have been listed over the last couple of days either :)

Looks like a busy year

Hi Peter. Even though the weather early on the Sunday morning this year was a bit damp it turned into a cracking day :driving: and the meal the previous evening at the Bloo Coo was excellent :D , so more of the same over Sat/Sun sounds great to me ! Count me in please.

Hi AlfaScozzesi, there is no pressure to over commit or commit early, many of us did/have lives which couldn’t allow us that range of prediction...on the other hand for some a date in a diary allows some people to plan their competing demands of time..

It will be great to see you if you can make it, if you can’t you can’t..

The only flip side these days is that accommodation (the good stuff) tends to book up early so booking late may involve more comprises...

We’ll make some role calls much closer to time...

Best peter

Craig no worries, still along time to go, I'll publish the route choices for each day to those who express an interest closer to the time and you can choose, we may, however, flip the days if the weather proves to be cheeky in a particular area on a certain day..

Thanks in advance for your efforts!

Both days will start/finish in Jedburgh.

One run will be westbound through the area in and around the Kielder National Nature Reserve taking in Hadrian's Wall and the other day will be eastbound through the area in and around the Northumbria National Park and Cheviots.

We'll decide which run on which day based on weather/road closures etc.

There will be a dinner on the Friday night and either a BBQ or Dinner depending on weather on the Saturday night.

Since we have two days, it will be slightly less frantic (maybe).

RSVP with ususal details: Car / Reg /Real Name / Pax / Coming From..

If folks want advice on accomodation can post a list with comments!

Just a planning reminder for all senior citizens plus newbies about the Borders Reivers Weekend

Potholes have now been filled (mostly) and sheep poo is now the biggest hazard!

We are now on summer tyres/wheels too....

Start and stop will be Jedburgh with 9:00am for 09:30 departure both days.

Booking.com shows limited availability on hotels around the area at that time...damm tourists..

Any updates/ additions on possible attendees welcome...
