Smartbear said:Had a similar problem with my old 220d convertible couldn’t open boot or raise roof or lock any doors, luckily it was under warranty and a tech came to my home to rectify. It took him at least a couple of hours it needed a battery disconnect but obviously its in the boot. He had to remove a handle and try and intercept the wiring loom to enable opening of boot not an easy jobOuroux71 said:Just been to the dealer.. Says they can do it 1h30 of work... 1h30mins just to open the boot? Surely it’s a ten minute job with their kit to force open! Maybe you’ve got an indi who can handle it? :?
Once it’s done I’d rig up a manual cable release just in case.

Could you down load them and have a read up on how to open the boot.
