Boot spoiler

Im considering a subtle boot spoiler. As my car is BSM would a black non painted one or stand out and need painting. I don't fancy doing that as heard of issues. Or is it normal to fit them unpainted?

I've got this one on mine. I had considered having it colour coded, but ended up just leaving it as is.

Personally I think it looks tacky/ chavy not to have it painted ..to my mind looks like a stuck on after thought ..which of course it is…but…they look like part of the original car if done correctly imho..

Forum member had that on his black E89..still painted it in the end..on a sunny day tends to look naff unless it’s c/f and you like that style…I know it’s rich from me with c/f cabin trim ..
