Boot spoiler - Yes or No?

Have to admit I had a momentary wobble about it, but your responses have set me straight - its staying put :)
 
It's your car Colin and you've always liked the aero spoiler on it. Everyone will have differing opinions on things but that's what's keeps things interesting. If it were my car Inwould remove it but certainly think you should keep it on yours!
 
Although not keen on stick on kit - I would leave it well alone - the boot lid paint will be faded now !
 
If its been attached using tigerseal or BMWs own adhesive the stuff dries rock hard so I doub't you would be able to remove it without damaging the bootlid, it looks good in situ :)

I shouldn't interfere further on this as I think Marlon thought the spoiler might be "off trend" as I have one. Anyway I voted "yes" and you know you're going to keep it!

As said, there is no way you could remove this without damage requiring either a respray or as I did replacing the entire boot.

If you can find a red boot somewhere you could always swap over and keep the other just in case.
 
Was it added after the initial purchase? If you have the receipt, there's a reasonable chance it was taped on. If it came out of the factory like that then they would have used Betalink, in which case I don't think you can remove it without ripping the arse off your car.

Yeah, keep it. I actually want one for my car, but I don't think I could live with the abuse from pvr :lol:

I like em, they are my guilty pleasure. Would look great with the aeros too.

I for one think the rear end of the zed is a masterpiece and so it just distracts from it, or to put it another way, it's like adding a moustache to the Mona Lisa :poke:

I think it rather enhances her look, just like the spoiler on the Zed :thumbsup:
