Boot opens when locking the car with keyfob

Hoping someone can help

Possibly the most Bizarre thing I have ome across with regards car issues

I do not know how long this has been happening but when I lock the z with the key fob the boot opens. If I use the key in the door it does not

Has anyone come across this and know a solution besides getting another key

Have you tried the other key to see if it does it with that too?

Unfortunately I have only one key, struggling to justify BMW price for another ....maybe will have too

There are key companies that will make one for you, if you tell us where you are someone in your area will know of a place

Great if anyone knows of someone they have used successfully it would be appreciated I am in Manchester area but can travel on a sunny day :rofl:
