Boot luggage cover replacement

Hi Guys

I picked up a 35i last weekend and am slowly getting round to fixing up all the issues to get it right. I have had to order the boot luggage cover as the black plastic hinges had smashed to bits and were beyond help. I just picked up from local BMW dealer but there are no fitting instructions and I’m an absolute idiot when it comes to anything practical but I am always willing to try.

Does anyone know how to fit that could steer me in the right direction? I’ve searched but can’t find anything only how to repair the plastic hinges.

Any help would be greatfuly received

Cheers
Ade

Have a look at ‘Newtis.info’ in google.

They have all the how-to’s there for different vehicles. Yours will be ‘LM72’ and then search for that part of the car for the dealer’s mechanic’s guide.

Thanks Beeacon ... I have looked through there with a fine tooth comb but nothing. I have looked everywhere but again nothing. Seems lots about repairing the plastic hinges but not about replacing the whole partition.

Remove the four torx screws, then pull out the aluminium tubes. The clips then pull off or just can be left in place.
