Boot liner for e85

Hello,

I am using and enjoying my z4 and fixing/upgrading bits and pieces as I go along. One of the things that is irritating me, (I am a bit OCD when it comes to my cars) and that is the condition of the boot carpet. Last owners didn’t take great care in keeping it clean etc. So I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a rubber mat to cover the boot floor? I have checked with my local eater and they are no longer stocked. :( I use my car so has bags of gravel, dirty walking boots etc in it, so want something durable and not just for show.

After recommendations on the forum I got one of these.

10 minutes with a sharp pair of scissors and it can be trimmed, following the marked line options, to fit pretty well.
I found there's enough to overlap into the top of the side cubbies below the rear lights, though not quite down into the bottom of them.
 
I used the factory BMW liner. They are still available in the US via Amazon or Ebay.

The issue is the postage/duty/tax to get it to the UK makes the cost double what you'd pay in the US :P
 
OK, here you go.
Really all depends on how good a fit you want. Folding a flat piece of rubber obviously introduces the odd kink here and there. Judicious cutting of slots may cure that but I left as is, so no little nooks for debris to sneak through.
Have tried to show how it folds over the rear edges. Doesn't fill the cubby hole completely but does flap over enough to keep it's position and stop dirt getting onto the sides.
Good enough for a tenner I thought?

Forgot to mention it is relatively thin material. Robust enough though, but being thin makes it easier to push into shape.
 
I've done the same as enuff_zed and it works OK, although the step in the boot floor doesn't help. Good value though :)

WeatherTech don't seem to list a boot liner for the E85/E86 :(

Is the E86 boot floor the same as the E85? I know the M models are different because of the battery.
