Boot light fuse

Anyone know what number the boot light fuse is (I only have one light in the centre) had a gander fuse diagram and tried both 7 and 62; if that’s them it just maybe the connector.

Keep in mind the boot light is associated with the boot left limit switch and problems with broken wires. One symptom is the boot light not working.

Got me a bit worried now, as I've had some issues with water leakage in the rear lights, that thankfully you and other members have help sort. What is the boot left switch? I've changed the fuse and that not the problem, so I've ordered a new connector.

When i had the broken wire in the left draw down motor limit switch, boot cycling and not latching, first thing i noticed was the boot light flickering. Got worse once i removed the boot trim and waggled wires and then went out completely. Studying the wiring diagram i could see the association with the boot light and microswitch. That led to the infamous wiring problem.

Cheers for the reply, my new switch as pictured above arrived and the light Is not working. I followed your guide the other week and removed the inner boot mechanism as I had that weird issue of the upper brake light remaining on, all the wires were in good order then. Looks like it may be that micro switch you mentioned, strange as my soft close works fine. Really annoying little gremlins especially as I haven’t got a clue how to fix them.
