Boot leak

I’ve just had a problem with the near side rear indicator failing due to water ingress. I’ve dried that out and it’s all good. In doing so can see that some water has leaked on the rear seals on the lights. It appears to have run down the inner boot channel. It’s not s huge amount but the boot channel is dirty where clearly some water has been running down. It appears to be from the top corner of the boot lid where a couple of seals join. See pics. Anyone any advice on a cure? Cheers

That's normal, so long as the water doesn't find it's way into the boot, it should flow, surprisingly over the rear tail light.
Yep brilliant design.
I use a tooth brush to clean that area.
The strip with the key hole slot can actually be lifted off to help clean that area.

ok - thanks for that. I thought I had cured the indicator fault but alas not so ended up replacing the rear light unit. Helpful to know I don't have a leak too but it's an interesting design...!
