Boot gas struts

Just replaced boot struts from these people ...http://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/car-boot-tailgate, next day delivery ,very good quality complete with 2 yr warranty ...recommend :thumbsup:
 
Can't say the same for the service I recieved from them. Bought new stuts for a 2003 Fiesta, they were overgassed and broke the spot welds! When sent back for checking they said gassing pressure was within spec and refused to help, but when returned, the struts were at a lower pressure!
 
Do these make the boot rise up on it's own after pressing the boot open button? Annoying that I ned to lift it up myself after pressing the button.

I once had that on a loan car... I didn't know of course, and when it hit me in the chin and I nearly bit the end of my tongue off I decided that wasn't a feature I wanted on a car.

it's not laziness, just had enough of getting fingerprints all over the bootlid.

also, try doing it with your hands full of shopping.

yes, i use my z4 for shopping :o :o :o
