Just noticed my boot badge is crazed and cracking.
Anyone replaced their car badge.
I have a badge knocking around i can fit, seems to have two lugs on the back if that's the right one, might be a front badge.

Hi,

I have the same job to do... :(

It's not attached in the same way as the other badges - it has an adhesive ring attaching it to the boot operating handle.

See here for the complete replacement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq__MLbUVJY

Not sure if I'll use a screwdriver, I may get some fishing nylon (or dental floss if it's up to the job) to slice through the adhesive.

I got genuine part (B51.14.7.200.474) from an Indy in Reading for £40 - shop around for the best deal.

Cheers!
Andy

It's "Braid" fishing line you want, but thats quite expensive. for Nylon, Dont go you heavy a breaking strain they are quite thick.
12lb rated should be thin and tough enough. Berkley big game is a good brand = to BMW quality

(Yes i am a sport fisherman) :D

Oh ok sorry i didn't know this method with Fishing Line. Thanks :D
(Sorry it's not easy to translate every topic in french even with google traduction :) )
