Boomy standard exhaust

I haven't had the chance to get it checked out yet as I'm busy with work, but I sounds like my standard back box maybe getting boomy. Like the packing is deteriorating or something or maybe a small hole?
I've searched on here and it doesn't sound like a very common problem, so wondered if people are suffering in silence?

Whats your year and mileage? as yes, the OEM mufflers are very solid, unless there is damage in another section?

It's a 56 facelift 3.0si with 60k

Mine is the same but hard to say if it's "normal" or not without comparing it to another Z4

I thought i read somewhere on here that the Z4 has a full stainless system as standard. Is this true?

They are naturally boomy at low revs,it's designed in. What RPM are you noticing the most noise?

Pretty much. The tips aren't, but everything else is AFAICT.
