Boom! rear diffuser arrives! *PICS*

ha ha oh you guys....
As Adamski says - those 3 series nasty 15" bad boys are for winter standing and messing with only! although ive grown quite attached to them! get some nice camber on the rears...
Yeah the orig bumper stops the new cover from being a little higher, and I will trim to fit if its too low - but im impressed at the fit - it follows that rear curve past the number plate indent nicely.
At the moment toying with full carbon Fibre on the whole part - (obviously!) - or its painted body colour and possibly mat black for the bottom section around the exhaust.

DYING to get it done and fitted! if it doesn't snow, cutting of rear bumper could be starting this weekend! YES!

stay tuned...

its...... Rieger. these guys have some pics but it looks s**t on the white car. also they have the different rear where the edge doesn't
line up with the curve of the bumper.

when you say full carbon fibre do you mean the 3M dynoc wrap stuff?

as an alternative look into that water transfere dipping process that you can have done. looks more hardwaring to me than a wrap.

it looed from your pics with it just propped up that its a good fit

like it, can't wait to see the end result,

Estillo R is not as nice as the rieger one. rieger is the only one accept OEM witch is nice for the Z4 ass.

looks like its this one:

Nice to see someone trying something different :)

I'm not a fan of that bumper though :(

The details are too soft/blunt, so they stand out as after market and very against the sharp lines all over the Z4.

At least you haven't got the side skirts shown in that picture :poke:

Thanks chaps. Some positive feedback there!
Yes the rest of the kit is terrible.. But I think this looks good, and no different to what other motors are running as a rear 'diffuser'.

The carbon fibre will be laminated as per all my stuff in the interior(search my previous posts for all who don't know me) seen the hydro graphics and its good but looks a bit fake to me. Also thought about wrap, but was worried that if I scrape the rear undertray I'm going to have bits hanging off etc. hmmm.

Regarding the quads, yeah I've looked into this - don't want the little pipe hanging off the one box, so was going to go the full hog and remove the battery box, weld it up, add another Remus etc. you never know, with the bumper off I might still do this.
