Bonnet won't open

Hi all. Well, went to top up my washer bottle this afternoon and the bonnet won't open, it was fine the last time. Is this the wire and is it easy to replace? As always thank you for any advice, Mike. :thumbsup:
 
Get someone to push down on it while you pull the handle. May just need the latch cleaning and oiling.

Thank you enuff_zed, that was a quick response, I'll get the wife to help me tomorrow and report back. :thumbsup: Fingers crossed it's nice and easy.
 
enuff_zed, thank you, thank you, thank you! It works. :thumbsup: wd40 and some of the brake grease (only stuff I could find) and it works better than ever. You really do deserve the 'saved the day' quote.:thumbsup:Mike.
 
It's not unusual on BMWs. I had that happen with my E87 when I had it booked for an MOT test!

So I had to rebook it after I had got the catch freed up and greased.
