Hello
Can anyone advice me please
2 of the catches have released but the one on the drivers side wont release i have tried pushing down on it while pulling the leaver , i have greased the 3 clips recently as i have had this issue on another z4 with just one clip at the front

Thanks

Cold weather? Maybe try warming the area up with a hair dryer or a bucket of hot tap water, the hot water worked for me when this happened on my daily, still had to gently tease it free but it worked

i dont think its frozen as car is stored in a garage and i drove it for about an hour on sunday ?

Doesn't necessarily need to be frozen to stick a bit.. Its a free try at a possible solution with nothing to lose?

Push down and pull up in a fairly solid movement whilst someone else is pulling the release handle. The movement seems to free it up rather than just pushing it down only.

Go in were you change your right hand side headlight bulb. You can see the black casing that the wires go through give them a tug and it should pop

so i tried all the suggestions above but it still wont open , can the catch be accessed via the front grill its dosent look like it can ?

Finally manged to sort this out so for anyone who finds themselves with the same issue here is what i done
1. removed grill but unable to see the catch on drivers front
2. Remove drivers side front wheel
3. removed wheel arch liner
4. Catch was accessible and was able to reach up and release it
5. the issue was the cable had popped out of the holder so when i pulled the leaver the cable was not pressing against anything to pop the catch it works like a brake cable on a bicycle ,secured it back in place - problem solved
