Hi All,
Well the day gets better.... windscreen cracked the other day so booked in with National Windscreens. So went to open the bonnet this morning. Pull the handle no bonnet 'pop' as expected. Tried all the usual things. Eventually removed all the trim and the pulling handle so I could get a pair of pliers to the cable. Got the bonnet open. In the process stabbed my palm with a screwdriver my finger. can't repeat all the expletives!
Anyway the main question. I have got a replacement cable pull and handle. The cable comes in two parts apparently. I have gone for the part attached to the internal pull handle as the handle seemed a bit wayward or worn.
Anyone changed one before? The cable obviously goes through the bulk head. Is this a **** pig of a job?
