Bonnet Release Cable

Hey all!

Today, as I went to replace my bonnet lock mechanism, I noticed the cable wasn't fitting quite right in the new mechanism. Turns out the plastic collar at the end of the cable to hold it against the entry to the mechanism has slightly broken...



I guess its new cable time... Heard these are a bit of a to replace! Do I need the whole cable or does it come in parts?

It comes in two parts that join in the engine bay. The front one is pretty easy to change but I've heard the rear one that connects to the lever in the car is more difficult
