Bonnet (hood) latch doesn't work

Hi all,

Hoping you can help me...

The latch to open my bonnet (hood) triggers the first release fine, but when I go to pull the lever to fully open my bonnet (hood) it doesn't work.... how can I get into my bonnet (hood) to sort it out?!

Any advice welcome.

I think you should be able to pull the grills out and access through there. Got to clean mine up at the weekend as it keeps sticking, not even the first release happens!

Get someone else to push the bonnet down whilst you are pulling the cable, that normally helps.

I can't recall how I released mine but the bike grease i keep in the boot has done a good job of stopping it happening again.

mine was the same, in through the grills and clean with WD40, all works fine now
