Bonnet badge size

Hi

I have a 2004 3.0i SE.

I fitted the retrofit cruise control on Saturday which I was very pleased with when testing it today. The stalk was £115 from Dick Lovett Bristol.

I bought a bonnet badge from eBay, they all seemed to be 82mm wide so just assumed that this was the size When I took the old one off I realised that the 82mm one was too large. Mine badge seems to be about 69mm across. What is the size I need, I can't find anything on eBay that it this size?

It's 70mm as pokeybritches says. I'd shell out for one from a dealer - the ones you get on eBay, if you find one, will likely not have the long lugs on the back for you to screw it on properly, so you'll need to stick it on with silicone adhesive or similar.

I replaced mine earlier this year. Definitely 70mm pal.

Part no 51147044207 - 70mm. I got mine from Sopers of Lincoln, approx. £30 incl 2 new nuts to secure it.

To remove it, pop out the kidney grills by putting both hands through the fins of one of them, lift up and pull the bottom of the grill outwards, they should pop out easy enough.

There's 2 x 10mm (I think) nuts holding the badge on, screwed onto it's plastic lugs. You'll need a deep socket to remove/replace it.

Thanks for your help. I've ordered a 70mm from Dick Lovett Bristol (£37 ish !!).
