Haha yea all reasons why I personally see 7s as track or weekend blast cars. Unless I had some sweeping quiet roads near I would never get one. Too much comprise for the road with endless speed limits traffic calming etc

I ran an Elise for a few years but that's like a limo in comparison to a 7, then z4 ownership for the last 3 and a half years has totally spoilt me :roll:

Yea that's the attraction - get the side screens off lot easier to get in and out and all the heat that washes back from the engine is out of the car not over you. Its a raw roadster and wind buffeting is all part of the game
on / off switch - yea
Can be a pig in town traffic. I'm in rural Norfolk which is fantastic Se7en country. The best thing I did was buy the Zed as my daily (grown up car) and the Caterham for the mad stuff.
Can't tell from the pics but did yours have seat belts or 4 point harness. The harness makes you feel more secure and part of the car; also makes the open sides with no screens feel less exposed.

Hi Buzy, have you tried an sv car with the bigger chassis? I'm just under 6 feet & 18stone and managed to ease in without being greased

Rob , I've tried all sorts. I basically would need to cut a few inches off my 38 inch legs and the size 13 extra wide feet, that extend them even further, to fit in the vast majority of sports cars.
TVR's and Z4's are about the only ones I fit comfortably in. Even with no seat, in my mates Silva, I don't fit in the cock pit.
