Its better than £5 apiece but i still wouldn't want to replace all 80  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Titanium-Split-rim-bolts-M7-BBS-wheels-/160546208114?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7795312192852239557%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D160546208114%26

Good find - not a bad price if you are just replacing a few broken ones. The OP should be delighted :D

If he ever comes back :?

lol! They are indeed a 12 point spline head, and they're titanium for a combination of strength, weight, and supposedly to reduce the chemical reaction between ally and steel that causes them to seize in place and snap (although it doesn't seem to work).

The link above isn't bad, still almost £3 a bolt!

By your way of rounding, they are almost as cheap as £2 per bolt

'tis simply the price of looking feckin' awesome 8)

I think your man maths may need some adjustment. 10x bolts, at £29 delivered, I'd say that's worth rounding up to £30, but it's no where near £20

I was ignoring delivery costs - my man maths discounts that from the equation when forced to discuss pricing outside my own head :P

Hi thanks for comments etc. I have found a company who do a set of 80 titanium bolts for the wheels at £150 for the set, including postage, still expensive but better than a lot, its a pain when the unknown is how many will break.

Went to BMW who were no help at all there wheel refurbisher on site at the dealer said we don't do those too much hassle!!! So i questioned them about supplying a car with parts they would not maintain, they were not very interested.

Less than £2 a bolt, not bad

Keep some of what you have left as spares, sell the rest on here as and when - people consistently pop up needing a few, and they're a pain to get as you've found out.

Oh, and a post in the newbies section with some pics would be great :poke: :D
